1987, Eastern Conference finals vs. Detroit.

Yes, the incomporable Larry Bird stole the Isiah Thomas in-bounds pass, but DJ read the play esp-style and was cutting to the basket even before Bird had the ball.

He then hits the lay-up with his non-shooting hand to give the Celtics the lead and the game w/one second left, and ultimately, the series.

Bird called him the best teammate he ever played with.
